Title: sliding window
Post by: mezzmo on March 30, 2011, 07:20:57 PM
Hi crew, still looking for a sliding window for the side of the green beast - my heart doesn't want to do it but on the last bash we realised how handy it would be. Besides, i have been promised by my partner in crime that when my bash days are done he will refit the cut panel and i'll never lnow the difference!!

So......any out there kicking around?

Why don't you get an extra side door? that way you can switch back to the windowless door easily.

We already have two sunroofs, i standard over the cockpit and one sliding in the back, i did change over the side door outriding, its the other side i need it for - its really claustrophobic(?) behind the driver.

even a cracked glass one would probably do Wazza, as we will be putting the vinyl (see through) stickers over the top anyway for our sponsors.

Appreciate the help boys - many thanks

Mezz

hey mezz, put a sliding opening window on each side of the van and you will appreciate the air circulation effect it has when driving, the camper has the two sliders and during summer with both open along with the front door windows its like driving a convertible. Don't forget the flyscreens and curtains though ....  ;)
