Hey im a noobie.
See how the windscreen is vertical instead of sloped. How difficult would this roof and windscreen mod be to do to a standard early 70s CF?

The first picture looks like its just a normal bedford screen standing vertically. No idea what the second screen is from.
You'll probably find those top two where based on the bedford tray version with the body being fibreglass or alloy.
It could be done, say to the van in the 3rd picture, cut it off at the top of the pink all the way around, make up a box frame, cut the windscreen frame from the other bits, stand it up and join into frame.
Would probably be easier to start with an old ambulance

Hey busy, you can buy the fibreglass roofs here in oz, and there are companies that do the complete modification. As for the windscreen, i would of thought you would need to cut the complete window frame out and re-weld it back in at the angle you like. I would say that aerodynamics and fuel would be s**thouse though lol ;D ;D

actually, now that i look at pics 1 and 2, they are not cf windscreens, they wrap around the side to far, compared to the bottom cf. Unless i am blind.

the top one looks like a cf screen, would have a big blind spot though
-
The first pic looks like it,s upside down but not sure about it being a cf screen.

Hey George
Thanks for the reply
Can you send me the details for the company that can do these mods?
-
i dont think its been modded. i think these were a standard production job.. there are too many photos of these vans in this style..

that would cost way too much to mod a cf to look like that..

the second one could be a PA or PB vaxual screen ?? ( also knowen as knee knockers..)

knock your knee on the front windscreen
-
if you have a look at the doors on a an EK you will see that the window frame protrude into the door opening.

So when you opened the door to get out you would often hit your knee on the edge of the window frame.
