Is it the original stud pattern? Should be able to find some jellybean mags to suit, they're the most common type for original stud pattern.
Brakewise, a change to HQ pattern on the rear and a HQ disc brake conversion will be your cheapest option, secondhand disc brake setups show up
here and on that auction site pretty regularly. If you have a bigger budget, commodore brakes will give you a better choice of rims.
Ben here on the site sells fibreglass wheel arches etc. and is easy to deal with.

Hi ME
if your looking to go HQ stud pattern on the rear, consider getting your axles re drilled to HQ and converting to Discs as per Alexs directions, so long as your diff has the right ratio.
ok so your've already got hq pattern on the rear is that right?
dont bother stuffing around with drum brakes, and dont bother searching for hq statesman rear disc set up coz you gotta be damn lucky to find them.
go to the wreckers and pillage a pre irs commodore rear disc brake set up, (cant remember whats model it changes think after vp, im not a commonwhore man) backing plates caliper mounts handbrake cable etc etc leave the rotors buy new ones.
basicly all you need to have done is a half inch spacer machined up to sit against the axle housing and the calliper mount for clearance, and bolt your axles back in ( i had the local diff guy machine this spacer for me when he rebuilt my diff). but after that its all bolt on stuff no welding required. you'll need to have handbrake cable modified to suit too, cost me 60 bucks, still havnt fitted it (still too long need shortened more then 100mm) and that was 2 years ago
comm stud pattern is the tiniest bit different to hq pattern so the rotor goes straight on. its all very straight forward, and makes life easier when servicing your brakes, parts readily available and cheap. i was meant to take photos of my set up ages ago for someone but never got around to it, if your interested i could take some pics, now that im unemployed ive got heaps of time on my hands.
my van has pulls up on a dime! prob better then my old mans vy
Alex do you have any pics of the Spacer and installation ?

ok boys
My van is a swb and is completely origrinal nothing touched yet ;D
If i got this right i need hq front calipers and discs(machine to fit ;Dbedford wheel bearings) ? and the brake conversion kit
The rear i need pre irs commodore rear capliers and mounts and backing plates plus cables and i need a spacer machined so the all bolt to the axle?
new boster and master cyl and make new pipes...think thats it yeah...
would love to see some pictures warren if you have them, would be awesome...
Ben let me know how you go with the templates would love to buy one of you when ya done...
Thanks again boys looking forward to getting my teeth into this...
just the song to keep me going..
