lol, that photo was taken a week after we put the shed up.
-
Thanks John, :P
You got me in trouble now, cause we are renovating, half the house is in his shed and he can't work properly in there at the moment. It's a sore point. :-[
I'm trying to help get the house out of his shed, I'll try and get him to put some current pics up, I don't know how i'll go cause he's a bit grumpy about how cluttered it is. But it's not all my fault !!!! ??? Really !!!
Hehehehe :-X :-X

get some pics up when I can, I am very blessed by the shed gods, I gotta double garage, solid brick with a tiled roof and concrete floor and driveway ;D but alas like the rest of us, its full of cra#p and had to move the catamaran and sailboat outside in the weather, lucky for me the young bloke has his dirt bike at the repairers (how much room does a bike take up, with him it seems half the friggen garage) so I can move around a little, only down side is that I can't fit the campa under the door to get it outa the rain :-\ still better than our last place where I only had a single garage and just managed to squeeze beddies down the side of the house into it, we had a bit of a slope and each time I wanted to work out of the garage I had to tow the project vans out to the front driveway, what a friggen hassle! Bought this place about two years ago and the only good thing apart from the inground pool is the garage, the house is on the side of a steep hill with stairs up to it, so on the weekends I walk down to the garage and stay there till I get hungry, runing out of drive way though unfortunately we got 4 trailers to find space for, so not much room for the other three cars with the beddie in front of the garage, still it is a great workshop ..... hmmm maybe I should clean and organise it a bit :-\

I'm going to try and get a photo up tomorrow. It's a glorified shoebox I tells ya!!

My mate and i are currently in the process of building a shed. 6m x 13m . Its about half finshed at the moment but should be done before xmas.
Will post up some photos tonight if i remember.

Hey Chris you need to put up some pics of your sheds.
I spent a couple of hours out at Chris's place last year and man has he got some sheds
of course you have no space in your shed chris coz you are a collector of usefull things like most blokes ;)
but you have some awesome stuff worth posting some pics

:-[Has oneone cut down a used garage roller door and installed it, is there a trick to tensioning the spring mechanism inside the door and do you need any specialised tool. I have heard plenty of horror stories, I want to replace thr lintel in my shed so that I can remove the two single door and replace with one double roller door
Thanks
Joe
-
Gidday Joe
Don't know about cutting one down but to tension all you need is a pair of vice grips and spin in the centre bar in required direction then tighten on mounting brackets.
It is however easier with one person at either end with a pair of vice grips so one can hold while the other releases and repositions!
Have done this a couple of times now!
-
Thanks Hotrod
One other point is the door down or rolled up when I do this tensioning
Joe
-
Definatley rolled up!

hey Dano, do you keep tabs on the mileage your beddie keeps doing? :P
-
I've been meaning to throw some pictures up for ages ...
1: The left side of the garage, I can just squeeze down the side, there is a shelf running the length of that wall
2: The right side of the garage, a few spare bedford parts. There is a work bench across the back with my tool box in the far left corner, I can just walk across the back.
3: Overall, note that gap in the front right is where my motorbike lives, it fits nicely as long as I don't have to get past it or open the van door.
I'll hopefully be bringing the custom van back here over xmas to finish it off, not sure how am going to fit that van and the bike in there as the custom van is wider with the flares and side skirts.
Oh and if I want to work on the other side of the van I move it over against the other wall - got to be able to get the bike in each night
-
Hey Danny...Its a great way to blow the dust out of the van!!!!! I hope you sat in the drivers seat whilst you were travelling, so it felt like you were going for a cruize!!!! Looks great Dude. cheers..Johnno :D ;D :D ;D

yeah, just more "stuff" in the back of the van now lol
Everything I need is at the back left of the garage, i need to get my mig welder out of there so can weld up this dash but thats a major in itself
-
When you finished the dash you can come and weld in the rear 1/4 panels if you like. LOL
-
