That is one nice looking van. Well worth the money if the inside is as nice as the outside.

Yes Jillybean...Craig does need this one as well as ALL the others he has!!!!! ;D :D ;D :D ;D
-
What type of front scoup do you call that pete
-
..........a flat 1 ...lol ;D

i notice the shovel nose... it brings me to a question i have been meaning to ask... to put the shovel nose on you have to remove the bumpers... are the bumpers considered necessary for a road worthy?
im in vic.

ahh nice to see the grill is kept the same!! on the mean green machine!!! was this one built for the incredible hulk! Mr T had beddie why not the Hulk! lol!

i saw this driving through gawler today, nice van, don't like the shovel though, not my thing

i will have the same look but it will be bens shovel nose. it will have also a bonnet scoop in the middle of the bonnet and the scoop thingy on the back of the roof. if i could i would also get one of those sun things that poke out 6-8 inches just above the window...
probably not everyone cup of tea but i suppose its a compilation of a lifetime of wanting one and seeing the different mods and flare kits.
the one above is very close to my paint color (but with 2 lt of gold tint run through it) and i for one love that pic because its the closest i have seen to what my completed beddy will look like.
would the bonnet roof and window addons change your mind about the overall look or is the shovel nose just ruining it for you?
-
Hey able, its your van mate, if you like those add ons then go for it, and just add your twist to them, thats what its all about. It would be pretty boring if we all copied and ended up with the same looking van, just go for it. Look forward to seeing the end result.

not as much as me george :D
and seeings im getting divorced i will only need one row of seats in the back i can get one of those fold up hard against the front seats ... and perhaps a double bed and one of those stickers vans seem to have :o

I think the shovel is a deal breaker for me.
But as george said, its your van and make it a reflection of you, don't let me influence your descision
personally, i'm going for a 5 piece flare kit (to'beef' it up a bit) and classic 70's mags and nice paint, thats it externally. i Love the orig. beddy SWB shape and want to keep as true to that as possible. Front bumpers are going to stay, but i'm even arguing with myself as to whether to keep or remove the rear bumperette's
Having said that, i don't want to see my van driving down the road when someone has copied it exactly. Variety is the spice of life. Ok now i'm just rambling
-
i agree about the overall shape. i have seen them (in pics) really modernized and to my taste that does not make sense.
but once ben posted this pic it was all over for me. had to have it.

I agree twice here, 1st the pic above looks great, and 2nd the shape of the beddy body is awesome, even though i am doing a full on custom, i am keeping that beddy look. Sometimes a nice paint job and wheels can be better then a lot of fabricating, like the green van above.

see that shovel isn't as bad, it has some interest, its not just flat. Oh and just noticed, the green van's flat front won't stay flat for long, the first time you do a right hand turn someone will crash into you as it has no indicators.

;D didn't notice that. must be fresh from the paint booth.

im gunna restore this green van. its totally mad!
-
It is a cool van Benny bro..You HAVE to do this one justice tho!
Make it good ;D
-
yeh lol

Love those sliding doors Ben. Allan ::)
-
yuk!
-
Sliders are noisy too- I thought I'd gone deaf in one ear when I fitted the passenger side (had just put in a cargo door) and took it for a test drive. Was going to keep the slider on the driver's side coz it's cool to drive with it open but had to fit a slam door just for the lack of noise...
