hi all as u might already now that i have tried to sell my van on ebay but wouldnt sell so i have desided to wreck it selling motor and box seperate and selling the van as a roller the van is still registered in vic lwb van any offers welcome
-
jimmy you had a bidder at like almost 7,000. why dont you just lower the price.
whats your time worth to wreck the van? it will be at least a days work maybe 2.
if your dead set on wrecking the van how much you want for the rear tyres?
you will end up with parts you cant sell also. keep that in mind.

i didnt have a bidder i wont lower my price the van owes me like 9000
i had a girl interested in it she was going to ring me back she was going to buy it but never rang back i will get back to u

My van owes me like 10k and its covered on surface rust ::)

Unfortunately buyers really don't care what it owes you. The vehicle is only worth what people are willing to pay. I'd love it if I could sell mine for what it owes me. I'd think about retiring.

Hey jimbo, you have to take into account that there are dozens on lwb vans out there that are registered and running, for under 2grand, why would they pay 10 for something that they can get for a fraction. I have not had the courage to total my bills yet, but i suspect it will owe me a good 50-60 grand when i am finished, thank god i am not selling, i dont think i would get anything close, unless a beddy virgin stumbled in drunk. ;D Cars depreciate the minute you drive them out the drive. I guess mate, if you think your van is worth that much, keep it. ;)

my thery is it dont sell i will strip it i will get most of me money that way

I believe, that what you want for a van and what you can get for it is the issue!!! I lost $2500 in about 18 monthes on my van ; but thought a sale with the cash was a lot better than waiting, advertising and putting up with tyre kickers was the way t go!!!!
I know that mine was worth a bit more; but it's gone to a real Beddie lover lol Cheers Brian O

just after i got my van I saw a van advertised that was regularly driving around my area.. it was advertised for $17k with $90k of receipts..
I dont think losing $2k is that bad really.. better yet, keep the van, and do it up, you've already spent some money, why not finish the job?

it might end up like that yet just keep it if it dont sell

i would like to see that $90 k van,mate

yes, what color was it matte tell us about it!

gaz, it was a nice van, but from the outside you wouldn't pick it was a 90k van, it had alot done to the interior - though i only ever saw it from the outside.
Craig, it was a dark blue, darker than my old van, more of a navy blue. it had XC square headlights, had a rear 'holden panelvan type' flip up rear window, looked nothing like the hoden unit tho, just functioned the same.
V8, big wheels, from memory semi diamond shape seperating the front cabin from the rear with curtains. Bubble windows.. dont remember the shape.. only remember hitting my head on them trying to look in at night..
Would've been a great buy, looked VERY straight, didn't really look for rust back then tho
