Hi all, ive come across a couple of sadly deceased bedfords lately, both cf1's, will cf1 cab doors fit a cf2?

To my knowledge you should be fine. I think the internal door handle fittings are different as are the mountings for them and a couple of other cosmetic things like the door lock knobs and window winder handle but as far as the hinges and actual steel work is concerned I think you're ok.

they are interchangable but as Rogue pointed out there are a few minor differences
The biggest being the inside door handle section, the early mk1 has a raised section across the door where as the mk2 doors are flat. The real early mk1 doors didnt have door panels, just a little plate around the inner door hanlde, but the later ones did. The door panels wont swap over very tidy.
hinges, catches, windows and regs etc are all the same
and both version rust in the same places :rolleyes:

Sorry Guys, have to disagree, the doors do fit, but the door line though the middle is different, as you know (well most) I changed to a Mk 2 front on my Mk 1 beddie and wanted to keep the Mk 1 doors due to the conditionn of them, but line was not the same, can't remember what it was, but as far as fitting no problems. Might pay you to check it out.

on the inside the door opener is diffrent too.. the older cf1 was a pull up or push down type & the later was a pull out style.

Original rust free, doesn't leak oil (or other fluids), starts every time, has never needed anything done to it ...

I have owned it for years never let me down and spent nothing on it and i really dont want to let her go. ;D
Umm... just hang on I will get some jumper leads and a can of fuel,she will fire right up I am sure.
