If you go on ebay and under hotrod 4" mirrors.should suit you. Allan

I've got Nissan Patrol mirrors and they fit nicely. just drill an extra hole and yes, bog up the bottom hole.

Can I please have a photo of the patrol mirrors fitted? I'm having a hard time understanding ???

Um, they're in my photos. You use the top hole and drill another about 70mm horizontally towards the front. Fit well, look good, rugged too.

Umm, I looked and there are two pictures that show the mirrors (full van pics) and the mirrors in both are the factory ones. ;D

I used Eddys pic as it was a close up and shows the general idea of how the Patrol ones would fit.
* Just remebered - I think Eddys are of a Navara, he had to grind a edge off the L shaped base to get it to sit flat, the navara sit on the 90 degree edge of the gaurd.

The other day i was sitting at a shopping centre carpark and beside me was a new Holden "Captiva" 4wd. and the mirrors looked like a viable option to stick on a beddie. Ill see if i can find a pic. ;)

im leaning towards the navara mirrors, thanks 4 the pics and info guys. i gather i'll have to drill at least 1 more hole in the door to mount it. is it alright to screw into new hole without there being any thread inside door like the original threads

It shouldn't be a problem to screw into the door - after all beddies are made of real steel :D
If you can re use the top two, if not all three could be drilled into the sheet metal, just make sure you use the appropriate sized drill for the screws you use.

Just reach your hand up inside the door and put a large washer and nyloc nut on the other side of the mounting bolt. It's not like you can't get to the other side of the door panel easily. probably easier with 2 people though as you'll have to have the window up unless you have really long arms.

Go to a Truckline Branch and have a look at their Britax mirror catalogue
