Hey Bradford,

I have read on here that a indicator stalk for a mini will fit - some same wiring harness, some different but same plug..they just need re-wiring if not and are the same colors as beddy  ;D

Call Ben for the rest of the stuff if your don't hear from anyone else  ;D

Cheers!

Land rover indicator stems are same too.. I think my last one was $25..  you may need to put the wire plug/joiners on tho?

hey bradford, i would try a dealership, they may be a bit more pricy, but at least you will get a new one that will last for years.

I used an old (70s) falcon stalk assy. I just rewired it and it works brilliantly.

I was down at the wreckers yesterday and they have 4 4 drawer filing cabinets full of steering column indicator/lights/wiper assys.

The Bedford column is 320mm in diameter. so I measured a whole bunch because I'm going to have wipers and lights at my hands on the column rather than those stupid bloody switches!

As long as you can follow the simple wiring it's pretty easy to reroute the switches.

What I found is that early model Nissans all had bolt on assys, most of them at 320mm. solid buggers too! Unless you plan to move the bearing at the top of the column, it's far easier to get bolt on ones. But I settled on a Toyota (unmarked) for it's ruggedness, and it fits nice and snugly within the bedford column cover with only another hole made for the left wiper stalk. I'm taking lots of photos and electric logic wiring diagrams. Will post photos of the the changeover soon.
