G'day folks, names Simon (aka Brothergrosby) and I hail from Penna, down here in little old Tasmania. I'm just about to start a restoration on a 1965 Bedford CA. OK I know this forum looks to be CF land, however I hope I'm not going to be run out of town for having the previous model! I'm guessing that a lot of the technology and parts are interchangeable and there is a distinct lack of CA sites so, well, here I am I guess...
and here is the girl! (ex Aussie Post) I saved her from being landfill for the princely sum of $100

hey simon.
for a start please ignore all my previous posts on how i am not a fan of the CA.
great to have you on the site, i have never ever seen a CA in the flesh, wouldnt have a clue what parts are interchangable. but if its any indication how hard it is to get access to CF parts your gunna have a lot of fun doing up that old girl!!!
so good luck!! look forward to the progress

Hey Ried, Cheers bud, yeah it's pretty good down this way, very laid back - sort of like the seventies, but with internet...
The missus and I (and the bubs thats due in May) live near Sorell, pretty much opposite Hobart Airport. If you (indeed anyone) decides to visit Tassie, just drop me a PM and give you an address to stop by for a brew!
I'm getting stuck into the dismantling stage of the resto, all the doors are now off and the "nose" assembly. Next will be the shell off the chassis, thats going to be interesting!
I've just finished my previous restoration, a 1974 Daimler Sovereign and before that a Wolseley 24/80.
Daimler pics can be found HERE (http://popularclassics.forumcircle.com/viewtopic.php?t=10877)
Wolseley epic story HERE (http://people.aapt.net.au/~simonwatkins/Tina/index.htm)
