Post by: ethyl on June 09, 2009, 11:18:00 PM

thanks guys, I will see my rares dealer, I buy quite a bit there for my Toranas so get a good deal
one other question; is it tricky refitting the Beddy screen? I have done plenty of Holdens/Toranas but didn't even think about doing one in my Jag took it to the pros

I got the local boys out to do it - they had it fitted like a bum in a bucket in 15 minutes (didnt hear em swear once - very rare in my garage)

Hey Ethyl, was just cleaning up my desk and found the invoice for the screen. The Rare Spare part number is WSF115 (Seal screen cf bedford van 71 - 81) i paid $166.85 including GST.

hope this helps

thanks for that info as mine is pretty shabby.

what is the point of a new paint job if you put a scruffy looking rubber back in...
