There has been mention of HHO Technology, also known as Browns Gas, and I am posting the results of my research.
The editor of an OZ electronics magazine bags it at every opportunity, however I have met enough people happily using it to know that it works.
I have met George and he is a fair dinkum bloke. His site is a good place to start:

The water4gas people are making the biggest splash at the moment:

2 interesting pages are:

There are lots of people selling kits:

Although it works, as a business venture it may not be viable:

I want to build one, however with life being full on, I have put it down as a rainy day project.
With the high mileage I do, I really should install one.
Regards
Chris

G'day
According to the websites it works with petrol, lpg, and diesel.
-
Hi David, interested in the files, and a little bit more about your system, good and not so good points.
Cheers Barry

most econamy varrys on the driver & there boot.. ;D
but the water 4 gas (with AU info also on it) state from 20% - 65% increase in MPG if you do all the mods to your system.
i havent done a test my self but i do notice the diffrance in pickup & idle without it. but i'm only running the 2.3ltr bedford motor with 2.45 tone being pulled.
i have some ltr per km from last xmas when we took it down the south island & did over 1000km with it in.. will try & find it.
but i think around the 8 - 9 km a ltr fully loaded

G'day
Talking to a salesman the other day who has one installed in his late model Failane. He didn't know anything about it, but was really happy with it. He said a mate of his put it in for him.
He said that he gets 5 days out of a tank of fuel instead of 4, so that is at least a 20% improvement.
He has 3 jars mounted in front of the radiator and hasn't touched it yet.
-
you have to top up the water so you better tell him.....
-
He is only a salesman, so its not as if I have to care.

KEEP YOUR EXPECTATION WITHIN REASON...
You want your car to run on 100% water? How about 150%? Well this is impossible. The reason I'm mentioning it is that some well-intentioned guys would love to maximize everything beyond reason. What they would do here is take the MAXIMUM possible contribution of each ingredient in the system, add them all up and come up with more than 100%... Well you understand that this not possible. Take everything said here with realistic estimation.
If this “soup” of ingredients, after not too many trial-an-error experiments, brings you beyond the 50% mark, you're in the green. You should be very happy. Not that you must stop there. I didn't. All I'm saying is let's all be realistic.
Personally I believe that approximately 97% water to 3% gasoline is possible, but with a 59% mileage improvement I'm far from it. Maybe half way there at best. And at the same time I'm happy because I can pocket hundreds of fuel dollars every year.

Hello Chris and Ben ..great to see you guys back on Buga!
I Found eagle research about 10 years back..bloody interesting stuff !!!
We owe a lot to Yule Brown too an Aussie who was running cars on water at trade shows.
And the Joe cell, which is way out there technology which seems a bit too advance for most to get their head around at this point in time!
Great to hear people are starting to put generators on vehicles here in OZ!!!!!
Hoping sometime in the future we all can be using seawater as theres a bloody lot out there!
Please keep us posted on this so interesting ..its the way of the future i reckon, to make HHO at point of use,
so all we have is water in our tanks and water coming out the exhaust.
Kool Post :)
