Hi all, I am a beddie tragic
I bought my first Bedford (1972 CF SWB) when I was 18, but had to sell it when I was 21 (wedding & babies took priority!).
Anyway I've been going through withdrawal ever since.....I'm now 35!
I spotted a gun-metal-grey beddie the other day and my wife said "Gee, that's a nice one, you should buy it!". Well that's all I needed, the green light.
So I'm on the hunt for a nice straight beddie, something the style of the one from the following post:

Or anything straight SWB. So, if you see one please keep me in the loop.
Cheers, and thanks for setting up this site for "Bedford junkies" like myself.

Sydney, but I travel for work. So if it's interstate, straight and in drive-able/roadworthy condition I'm interested.
Just to clarify, I don't have budget for a fully restored x-project van. I just want something I can run around in daily to work, and spend my weekends touching up and tinkering with.
Cheers, Jason.

What are you budgeting on spending ?
Heres another one (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/BEDFORD-VAN-SWB-327chev-9-diff-ex-Star-Wars-show-van_W0QQitemZ180347178651QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Cars?hash=item180347178651&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A1%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50) in your area

Sorry, I should've mentioned that to begin with.
I've got a budget up to $4k, but I'd like to get one like this would be perfect:

Then spend the rest of my budget (yes, and probably much more over time) getting it to where I want it.
Cheers, Jason.

my advice is spend as much as you can afford on the actualy van.. no $500 bargins.. they always end up costing more money than one you pay say $3,500 for..
as for a roadworthy van. people just dont sell bedfords with roadworthies. simply because it costs way to much to get the cert and way too hard too!!! if you find one with one snap it up id say!!
