Miscellaneous Technical / V6 Supercharger fitted to a Bedford?
« on: March 04, 2019, 02:06:08 PM »
Hello all, I am going to fit a V6 supercharger motor and box to my Jumbo. It is already a 253 and auto. I have worked out it is cheaper to have a hole donner car for this project. Okay who has done this and how much trouble will I have?
The sound of a V8 is great, but rego and parts aren`t as easy to find. I also want to fit the Air as well. Looking at fitting the hole dash and everything else I can use.

Thanks Matt.

Look forward to pictures and post of your Van's and your progress.
Where are you located ?

Hi Wendy,
I am from Kingaroy QLD. I have been talking to Glenn J and Nik. Been buying items from Glenn. I bought a lwb and the van has more rust than I thought. Wicky (Matt).

Hi Sam & Carly,
Which part of Brisbane are you from? I am up at Kingaroy. I read about your trip and now exactly what you went threw. I did the same with a V8 tonner. Cost way too much. Anyway have you done anything with the Van? Wicky(Matt).

Hi All,
I go by Wicky548 name is Matthew. I have owned three LWB over the years two V8(253) auto in both. I had another which I did a heap of body moods then gave up and it went to the tip. Just got another LWB at the age of nearly 60. It is a 179 auto but have already picked up a 253 and auto to put into the van. Normal for nearly any Bedford (rust) and yes it has got it. A lot of work ahead for me with this. Disc brake front end Van craft dash and elec sunroof. Dual ass end, don`t know yet if a highway diff has been fitted. It will never be a show van but it will be good(bloody hope so). Great site people and reading all the sites. Matt.
