Need a front blinker housing
« on: January 28, 2011, 07:41:02 PM »
Hi all,
would anyone have a front blinker that they want to sell?  I've got a lense if you want to hang on to that part but the chrome back is RS.  I lost one of the brass ferrules that you screw the lense into and I thought that was all.  I went back and got it out to fit it today and when I looked closely the whole thing needs replacing.
I'm in Lismore NSW.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Neil

while they dont have the chrome bessel, hella have a round trailer light that is almost identical.

The camper was missing the front indicators when I got it and the Hella ones bolted straight in place.

G'day Warren,
thanks for repying mate.  Good advice.  I've seen a couple of Beddys with the Hella lights and I may end up going that way in the end.  I've got one perfect original blinker and I've already fitted it to the camper so I'd like to keep the original ones if possible.  One down and one to go.
Someone might have one in their shed that they are wiling to part with.

I'm starting to get a bit excited coz it is driving up and down the driveway under it's own power for the first time in 10 years. (long story-it followed me home in 1998 and I was allowed to keep it ;-}}}

Cheers

Neil

Supercheap have a plastic based one
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

Autobarn and supercheap have an identical light for about $5 each. If i am correct the original front blinkers were only the trailer lights. For a few bucks more why dont you go LED, narva and autobarn have a good range of blinkers now, i know cause i went crazy looking at them a few weeks ago when i was there.  ;D ;D All my lights are going to be LED on the rebuild.

Hey Willo, I have an original pair in good condition (sorry waz  :P) you can have them but is it worth while sending them all the way up to Lismore from Ringwood? or easier to replace with aftermarket pair?

Hi mate,
Thank you - Thank you - Thank you.  I am going to run LED bulbs in the original lights but just need the original lights to make it all work.

I'm keen and would gladly buy them and pay freight.  (Pre paid padded postal bag???)
I'm happy to do a transfer $ into your account if you want.
Do you want to PM me to discuss details further?  Or is this getting to be too much of a pain in the...?

Cheers
